I had a little fun with this sketch. I liked the contrast of the misty muted backround and the intensity of the scarlet macaw in the foreground.

I just got back from Victoria BC and was inspired to paint this owl. I love the old growth forests there and I couldn't wait to get back to my studio to paint something from this experience.
